Kemi Afolabi, a Nollywood actress, has spoken out about her ‘incurable’ illness, lupus.
The actress also revealed that her doctor told her she only had five years to live in a recent interview with show presenter Chude Jideonwo, which was published on Friday.
She said that she had only lived one year after the doctor’s diagnosis, and that she didn’t know how much longer she had.
“Make sure you are with your loved ones,” Afolabi’s doctor advised, according to Afolabi. At the very least, you still have five years.”
“I have lupus,” she answered when asked about the illness. It is incurable. All you have to do now is take your pills for the rest of your life.”
She stated that she spent N1.2 million on a treatment that did not work since she was constantly in agony.
Following her diagnosis, she wrote her Will and reserved a place at a funeral home.
